Switch Configuration
Switch Configuration defines the connection parameters for the Mideye Switch — the backend service that handles SMS delivery, mobile app push notifications, and Magic Link authentication. In environments without external network access, air-gapped mode disables these features.
Navigate to Server Settings → Switch Configuration to access this page.
Configuration Fields

Hostname and IPv4 validation is performed asynchronously against the server. Validation is skipped for unchanged values.
Air-Gapped Mode
Section titled “Air-Gapped Mode”When Air-Gapped Mode is enabled, the Primary Host, Secondary Host, and Port fields become optional. A warning alert is displayed listing the features that are disabled in this mode:
- SMS authentication — one-time passwords via SMS cannot be delivered.
- Mideye+ — mobile app push authentication is unavailable.
- Magic Link authentication — email-based passwordless login is unavailable.
- Mideye Shield — the threat intelligence service requires external connectivity.
